Supporting Local Communities

M&S has long-standing relationships with suppliers across the UK, including over 9,500 Select Farm partners some of which are based in Cheshire.

Since 2015, we have worked with food redistribution platform Neighbourly to ensure surplus food from our stores reaches those who need it most through local causes and community groups. Over the past decade, the equivalent of 100 million meals have been donated by our store teams.

Together with the King's Trust, we offer young people support with employability skills through Marks & Start, a 4-week programme in-store. Over 12,000 young people have taken part, including more than 1,000 young people in the North West.
